BLUEGRASS TRACK airs on Windstream Channel 4 in the communities of Blairsville, Young Harris and Hiawassee in Georgia, and Hayesville & Warne in North Carolina.
The hour-long show airs about six times a day (see schedule link at left for specific air times).
While you're enjoying the great bluegrass, onscreen you can see what's going on in the local community during the 4 Your Info... segments on Windstream Channel 4. These informational screens provide updates on the many community & social events going on in the Southern Appalachians, including the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds - the home of country music in Georgia.
BLUEGRASS TRACKS compliments other bluegrass programming which airs on Windstream Channel 4. Every week you can join Sam & the boys for a half-hour television show called Roots & Branches, which, as you might gather from the name, explores the roots of mountain & bluegrass music, but also branches out to explore other genres of music. Ever heard a Beatles song done bluegrass style?? Tune in and find out what Roots & Branches is all about. Click the link at the left to find out more about the show.
Also on Windstream Channel 4 is The Cumberland Highlanders Show. This half-hour television show is produced in Rosine, Kentucky, the birthplace of Bill Monroe. Each week you can hear performances of established and up-and-coming bluegrass bands. Many of the shows are taped right in Bill Monroe's homeplace. Click the link at left for airtimes.
